Kim joined Hanlon Acoustical Ceilings as a Project Coordinator in March 2020. Prior to joining Hanlon, she managed an Epigenetics laboratory in Scotland. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland while funded on an Air Force grant (AFOSR) for extremophile radiation/desiccation research. She quickly transitioned to protein biochemistry and managed the daily logistics of the lab while training other staff. During this time, she began to focus on process streamlining and project management, as well as relationship development with vendors. She obtained her Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM)® certificate from the Project Management Institute.
